RAK (Random Acts of Kindness) is February 8th - 14th.
Random Acts of Kindness is a simple, planned or unplanned, sometimes anonymous act, which helps to brighten someones' day. A RAK is not something done for a reward, but simply to be nice. The purpose of RAK is to encourage everyone to do nice things for one another. As our thoughtful acts are emphasized for one week, and we experience the ripple effect of kindness, we will realize we can make every week a RAK week. Also, focusing on good instead of bad, encourages more positive behavior.
