The 2006-2007 Annual Report has been released. This report complies with the district's public information policies as well as state reporting requirements. This information is presented for the previous year in a consistent and user-friendly format so all stakeholders may be fully informed about the condition of our district.

Navigation 2020
The district is now completing the first phase in the Navigation 2020 “Charting a Course to the Future” process. The first meeting was held on November 29th, 2007 and a draft presentation was provided to the board on June 11,2008. This process and the resulting plan will have a profound effect on the programs and services we offer and the projects we undertake to improve student achievement. More information.

Long Range Facility User Planning Committee - January 2008 Recommendation
The district's Long Range Facility Planning Committee has been studying district facilities and use in light of our enrollment decline. The committee presented its recommendations to the school board at the January 2008 meeting. More information.

School Board of the Year 2007
The Washington State School Directors’ Association (WSSDA) has named the South Whidbey School Board, 2007 Boards of the Year. This prestigious state award recognizes school district boards of directors that have demonstrated outstanding efforts and accomplishments in promoting student achievement. South Whidbey joins the boards of Richland and White Pass in receiving this honor. (more information)
