South Whidbey School District is dedicated to communicating with our school families.  The primary method of communication to and from families is through ParentSquare. All staff email addresses can be found online in our staff directory. Please make sure that you provide the most current and best email address to your school secretary to make sure you are kept in the loop.

Our website at www.sw.wednet.edu, contains everything from school menus, staff emails, calendars, job opportunities and much much more.  If you have any questions or difficulties finding the information you need, please contact your school secretary or the district office at 360-221-6808 ext. 2245 or communications@sw.wednet.edu.

Twice a month, the South Whidbey School District posts  a district wide newsletter, the SWSD Navigator,  to all SWSD families, staff, grades 9-12 students and community members who request notifications. If you would like to receive notifications of these post, please email your request to communications@sw.wednet.edu.  These posts are made via Parent Square.  They provide notice of upcoming Board meetings, what's happening in the schools and staff highlights.  Our Annual Report is annually posted on our website in January. Both are methods to keep apprised of the great things happening at South Whidbey.

For the hearing impaired, the FCC provides TTY relay service to everyone for free by dialing 711. Those with a hearing disability can call 711 using their TTY device who then calls the destination (in this instance, it could be us) and the relay service translates the TTY written messages to voice for us and our voice to TTY.

This Communications tab on the SWSD website has links to multiple tools used to communicate with our families. For  example, all SWSD school board policies, agendas and minutes are found on BoardDocs.

As a service to our South Whidbey Community, Peachjar  is where you can find school and community flyers which are first emailed to our district families who accept notifications.

Pick Up Patrol is a method for families of students grades K-6 to communicate transportation changes to the school.  Please note that all changes MUST be made by noon to ensure the transportation change is confirmed.
