OSPI Annual Report Card

The Washington Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI) provides an annual report card for school districts across the State. The reports for South Whidbey School District are linked here. The purpose of the OSPI report card is to share information of how students in our district performed on our state test, the number of students enrolled, the race and ethnicity of the students and educators in the school community, and much more. Below is a summary report for South Whidbey School District.

A printable version is linked here.

Information regarding the use and condition of the school buildings (maintenance and facilities) is linked here.

We invite all parents and citizens to participate in school activities. South Whidbey has Community Advisory Teams that provide feedback for improvement to the district.  Each of the advisory teams are lead by a staff member that reports to the Superintendent.  These teams comprise of parents, community members, staff and students.

Each month, the South Whidbey School Board conducts a Workshop and/or Business Meeting to review district policies, discuss issues in the district, review school improvement plans, review Superintendent, financial, enrollment, and student monthly reports and take action on business for the district. There is an opportunity at each business meeting for public comment. All policies, minutes and meeting agenda's are available on Board Docs (linked here).
