December 17, 2021 Update
Jo Moccia

Dear South Whidbey Staff, Students and Families,

South Whidbey School District is aware of the nationwide school violence threats that are circulating on social media, such as TikTok.

At this time, we are not aware of any confirmed or credible threats at any South Whidbey schools.

We take all threats seriously and work with our local law enforcement to investigate any cause for concern.

We ask that staff and students continue to be observant and report any suspicious behavior to either school authorities or local law enforcement.

Thank you for your continued care and concern for the staff, students and families in our district.

We wish you a peaceful and restful winter break which begins after school today.

Sincerely,

Superintendent Jo Moccia
